The pay range is $71,000.00 - $128,000.00Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience and certifications. In Sourcing, you’ll apply your apparel and accessories and/or home goods expertise to promote and apply responsible sourcing practices while driving the success and growth of Target’s owned brands.The Sourcing team starts at the very earliest stages of product development, builds out the costing models and tracks where product stands at every step in the production cycle, from overseas shipping to our import warehouses, distribution centers and stores. And since Target is indeed a global company, you’ll be part of the team that manages global relationships in partnership with the buying team who shop for trends all over the world. Your ability to stay aware of our suppliers’ activities will help ensure compliance with responsible practices, and you’ll have influence over which manufacturers Target chooses to work with. You’ll be a close point-of-contact with Target team members in sourcing offices located in 20 countries around the globe, and you’ll support their work as liaisons among buyers, product developers and overseas partners.As a Sourcing Manager, you will work collaboratively with a cross-functional team to deliver outstanding owned brand/private label products in a fast-growing category by leveraging proximity, innovation, and strategic vendor partnerships in our Western Hemisphere source base. You will demonstrate your entrepreneurial spirit, flexibility, growth mindset, and innovation skills to advance our world-class sourcing and business partner strategies. You will play a role in the assessment and elevation of vendor and production capabilities; executing strategies that bolster the Western Hemisphere supply ecosystem. You will drive sourcing strategies that align to business goals and the critical needs of the relevant category, as well as utilize advanced negotiating skills to help Target achieve our value and financial plans. You will develop and manage a supplier matrix and production strategies that elevate performance, boost profit, drive speed to market and deliver on sustainability commitments.Core responsibilities of this job are described within this job description. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
