SIRVA is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Global Assignment Consultant (GAC) to join our team in Stavanger. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our corporate clients and their employees as they relocate internationally. Acting as the main point of contact for international assignees, you will coordinate and manage a wide range of relocation services in line with client policies and procedures.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in relocation, global mobility, or international HR who enjoys working in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.Key ResponsibilitiesRelocation & File Management (60%)Oversee the full delivery of assignment management services, including policy counseling, destination services, household goods shipping, immigration, departure services, and expense management. Interpret client international assignment policies and offer tailored advice to assignees based on their unique needs and local requirements. Provide continuous support and guidance to assignees throughout the lifecycle of their international assignments. Supplier & Stakeholder Coordination (20%)Coordinate closely with internal teams and external service providers to ensure a seamless assignee experience. Manage communication with Global Certified Providers, ensuring quality and consistency in service delivery. Client Communication & Support (10%)Act as the primary liaison between the client’s HR representatives and the assignee, addressing any relocation or assignment-related issues. Support exception management and recommend solutions when deviations from policy are needed. Keep clients updated on assignment progress, provide proactive solutions to challenges, and assist with ad hoc client projects. Other Tasks (10%)Support Managers, Clients, and Assignees with additional duties as needed to ensure successful assignment delivery. Qualifications Experience:Minimum 2 years of direct relocation or global mobility experience, or 3 years in a customer service–related role. Experience with international assignment management is a strong advantage. Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Norwegian. Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and take initiative. Strong interpersonal, presentation, and business etiquette skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant systems. Preferred:Experience working or living abroad. Familiarity with Norwegian immigration, tax, and employment processes. Additional language skills are an asset.
