The energy behind the bran­d is infectious, and as we grow, we are always looking for extraordinary talent who want to be part of this our success and help drive our limitless ambitions.About The RoleWe are looking for a dynamic individual who has appropriate Global Procurement experience, to meet the needs of the key responsibilities, working within a fast-paced environment, ideally from within a digitally mature industry or heavy presence online retailer.The individual will support global marketing sourcing and cost reduction across key categories.Key categories where they could have experience could cover across Global Marketing include but are not limited to; Digital/Performance Marketing, Media, PR, Events, Creative & Design. Also, areas like Visual Merchandising/POS Materials, Professional/Corporate Services would also be of interest.Taking a lead role in sourcing preferred global supplier network, managing supplier performance meetings, plus monitoring and expediting performance improvements.The expectation is that the candidate will lead cost saving initiatives in partnership with our marketing stakeholders and lead on new strategic projects with both global and regional teams.There may also be some project management of a number of ad-hoc support projects within the role that will not necessarily fall directly in this category.As a Global Category Manager - Indirects you willSpend Mapping analysis of all relevant Indirect Category spends to provide recommendations on cost saving opportunities. Category Manager could manage the following categories; Digital/Performance Marketing, Media, PR, Events, Creative & Design, Visual Merchandising/POS Materials, Professional/Corporate ServicesFormulate category specific strategies for significant areas Negotiate contracts and liaise with internal teams throughout procurement process Work closely with marketing, finance and legal teams to align procurement activities and business objectivesEnsure compliance with procurement policy, ethical standards and legal regulationsManaging ESG initiatives with suppliers, including Ecovadis audit and improvement actionsProject managing global ways of working across internal teamsStreamlining and improving current ways of working Management and updating of contract database including mapping renewal datesAd-hoc invoice reconciliation management versus rate cardsWork strategically to build network of stakeholders internally and externallyProvide full end to end process of RFI/RFPs, including collation of responses and score carding with appropriate analysis providedOrganising QBR supplier reviews across key strategic suppliers, including annual meeting plans. Responsible for chasing through improvement actions and KPI management. Rebate management tracking and regular liaison with finance team to ensure accurate accruals and ready availability of audit informationTake ownership of cost initiative projects as part of their personal development plan, and in accordance with Procurement Director expected annual savings targetsSet up and deliver ongoing supplier credit monitoring and record feedback on any critical profile changes, using D&B tracker systemKeep up to date with market trends, new technologies and innovation and construct regular market reviewsAbout YouDeep knowledge of marketing category, relevant supplier capabilities and competitor activityPrevious global marketing procurement experience within digitally mature industry or Cosmetic/Personal care online retailerPrevious negotiation experience in Marketing procurementProven project management experience track record - a must haveStrong operational stakeholder relationship development and managementMust be strong in data analysis, and have excel analytical expertise, including VLOOKUP's, nested ‘if' statements, pivot tables filters etc. Must be comfortable working with ambiguous and/or incomplete informationSome experience in formal contract development would be a distinct advantageLearning Curve - Capability to quickly take on board and disseminate new data/info quickly and communicate to team effectivelyAttention to Detail - Able to work at a fast pace, without making unchecked errors across a wide range of projects at the same timeConflicting Priorities - Ability to commit to and deliver against agreed deadlines, where there will be multiple priorities to consider and manageProject Management skills - Must be conversant with both sourcing tenders/RFP processes.
