We create imaginative products and brands that are enjoyed in over 150 countries, such as Mentos, Fruittella and Chupa Chups.THE OPPORTUNITYAs Global CMI Manager, you are a strategic partner for innovation, category insights, brand positioning, and communication within Perfetti Van Melle. You are responsible for translating market, consumer, and brand data into actionable insights that drive growth for our global brands and categories. You collaborate closely with the global marketing, category and revenue growth teams and external agencies to develop and implement best practices and standard research methodologies.You are a driving force behind identifying growth opportunities at market, category, brand, and product level. You support new product development by initiating and executing consumer trials and reporting outcomes.What Will Be Your ImpactStrategic Insight Partner: Translate internal and external data into strategic advice for global brands and categories.Research methodology expert: requires a strong grasp of both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, such as experience in category research, creative testing, brand health tracking, and occasion-based insight development. Familiarity with AI tools, repositories, and agentic development is essential to drive innovation and strategic decision-making.Branding & Consumer Validation: Guide brand development and positioning, lead validation processes, and advise on marketing communications.Market Research & Intelligence: Set up and execute relevant research studies aligned with business objectives and challenges.New Product Development: Generate, interpret, and collect market research data, conduct product trials, and report results.Growth Opportunities & Risk Analysis: Proactively identify growth opportunities and risks at all relevant levels.Methodology & Best Practices: Develop, promote, and share standard research methodologies, inspiring global and local teams.Data Integration & Digitalisation: Integrate diverse data sources, work with digital tools (such as Power BI), and ensure effective reporting and presentation.International Collaboration: Work with global sources such as Innova and Euromonitor, and maintain relationships with international agencies and operating companies.Budget Management: Support the management of the CMI budget and financial alignment with agencies and internal teams.What We Are Looking ForBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing or a related fieldExcellent command of the English language (spoken and written)Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role within a multinational FMCG organization (such as CMI Manager, Strategy & Insight Manager, or Strategic Planner)In-depth knowledge of innovative market research methods and best practices in quantitative and qualitative researchStrong consultative, diagnostic, and communication skills; able to advise and influence at all levelsExperience in processing and interpreting continuous and ad hoc market data (agency or client side)Excellent marketing knowledge and application of market dataInspiring interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate teams with insightsAbility to critically assess methodologies and influence within the organizationExperience in strategy, positioning, planning, and performance managementResilient, flexible, and able to work under pressureExcellent analytical and presentation skillsAdvanced knowledge of digital tools, Power BI a requirement, SQL, Azure, data bricks an advantagePassion to succeed and make a difference; energetic and self-motivatedConstructively critical mindsetWhat Do We OfferA full-time role (40 hours per week) in an international and dynamic environmentA competitive salary complemented by a performance-based bonus scheme30 days of annual leaveHybrid working model: at least three days in the office, with the flexibility to work remotely for the remainder of the weekA pension plan through the Stichting Bedrijfstakpensioenfonds voor de ZoetwarenindustrieA comprehensive wellbeing and benefits program, gym membership discounts, EMPOWR platform, and moreOffice engagement events to foster team spirit and connectionInterested?
