This includes both Business-as-Usual (BAU) technology products and services, as well as transformational investment projects such as STEP. The role is responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies that align with business objectives, drive value, and support innovation and growth.Your Responsibilities Will IncludeStrategic Procurement Leadership: Develop and implement global procurement strategies for all technology-related spend categories, covering BAU and transformational initiatives. Align procurement goals with Sandoz’s strategic priorities, including digital transformation and operational excellence. Drive value creation through cost optimization, supplier innovation, and risk mitigation.Transformation & Investment Projects: Partner with cross-functional teams to support major investment programs (e.g., STEP), ensuring procurement delivers timely, high-quality, and cost-effective solutions. Lead sourcing strategies for emerging technologies and strategic partnerships that enable transformation.Stakeholder Engagement & Demand Management: Collaborate with senior business leaders to understand technology needs and ensure procurement strategies meet evolving requirements. Balance business needs with strategic sourcing principles to optimize value and performance.Supplier Relationship Management: Build and manage strategic supplier relationships to foster innovation, ensure service excellence, and drive continuous improvement. Lead negotiations and contracting processes to secure favorable terms and long-term value.Compliance, Risk & Performance Management: Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies and external regulations. Implement risk management frameworks and monitor supplier performance. Track and report on key performance indicators, including savings, compliance, and project delivery.Team Leadership & Capability Building: Lead a global team of procurement professionals, fostering a high-performance culture. Develop talent through coaching, mentoring, and capability-building initiatives.What You Need To Bring To The RoleBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field, Master’s preferred.Fluent English mandatory, with excellence in speaking and writing.10+ years in procurement within a multinational environment.5+ years in leadership roles with global scope.Proven success in managing complex technology sourcing and transformation projectsStrong stakeholder management and negotiation skillsExperience in change management and leading through transformation.Why Sandoz?Generic and Biosimilar medicines are the backbone of the global medicines industry.
