Position TitleGlobal HR Legal Advisor – International Employment & Labor Compliance2. Position SummaryThe Global HR Legal Advisor will support all international HR and labor-law topics across the key countries where the company operates, especially Germany, the United States, India, and all other European or global locations within our operational network.Based in Győr, the advisor ensures full compliance with local labor regulations, secure HR practices, and supports management during hiring, contract drafting, mobility, performance processes.The position requires an individual with solid legal foundations acquired in Germany, and full professional proficiency in both German and English.3 Key ResponsibilitiesA. Employment Law & ComplianceEnsure compliance with labor laws across Germany, the United States, India, and additional operational countries (EU and global).Draft, review, and maintain compliant employment contracts, addenda, NDAs, and service agreements for each jurisdiction.Provide guidance on working hours regulations, holidays, compensation rules, and employee rights according to each country’s framework.Conduct regular audits of HR processes to ensure adherence to international labor standards.B. International HR SupportAdvise on recruitment practices, candidate classification, contractor vs. employee rules, onboarding procedures, and mobility.Manage international assignment rules, including relocations, remote work structures, and expatriate arrangements.C. Corporate Governance & Legal CoordinationLiaise with external law firms in Germany, the United States, India, and EU jurisdictions.Develop and maintain a global HR legal handbook summarizing employment obligations by country.Support due diligence activities for potential acquisitions or new country openings.Regularly update management on labor-law evolutions internationally. 4. Required Skills & QualificationsMaster’s degree in Employment Law, International HR Law, or Labor Relations (studies completed in Germany).Strong expertise in German labor law (KSchG, BetrVG, Sozialplan, §613a BGB, etc.).Good knowledge of U.S. employment principles (at-will employment, Title VII, ADA, FMLA).Good understanding of Indian labor regulations (Industrial Disputes Act, termination procedures, contractual rules).Professional experience dealing with multi-country HR operations or consulting.Excellent ability to translate legal concepts into operational recommendations.Strong communication and drafting skills in German and English, Chinese and French are a +5. Location & Work EnvironmentPrimary location: Győr, HungaryOccasional international travel to Germany or other European offices may be required.Collaboration with HR, operations, finance, and legal partners across different countries.6.
