You can also follow us on LinkedIn and Instagram.Job DescriptionIn this position, your role is essential in upholding compliance with tax regulations and optimizing tax processes for employees on international assignments. This position is key in handling the tax consequences of global mobility and facilitating a smooth transition for employees across different countries. Your main objective is to reduce tax-related risks and costs, while ensuring that both the organization and its employees adhere to relevant tax laws.Key ResponsibilitiesPersonal tax return complianceAccurately prepare, review, and file tax returns and related deliverables for globally mobile employees within designated deadlines.Manage tax equalisation calculations and hypothetical tax assessments for expatriatesMonitor and ensure timely submission of personal tax returns and paymentsEducate and counsel employees on their tax responsibilities and the potential implications of international assignmentsPrepare supporting applications and documentation to optimize employees’ tax positions, including communication with assignees and the local (Greek) tax authorities.Consulting and advisoryProvide tax advisory services to clients regarding international tax issues including taxation treaties, foreign tax credits and double taxation reliefAdvise clients on tax-efficient structuring of employee assignments and compensation packagesAssist in the development and implementation of global mobility policies and proceduresClient ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients understanding their business needs and providing tailored tax solutionsServe as a point of contact for client inquiries providing prompt and accurate responsesCollaborate with clients, HR and payroll departments to gather necessary information for tax complianceResearch and AnalysisStay updated on global tax regulations, changes in Greek tax laws and industry best practicesConduct research on complex tax issues and provide detailed analysis and recommendationsTeam CollaborationWork closely with global Vialto team members to coordinate advice and ensure seamless service deliverySupport senior team members in large client projects and engagementsParticipate in team meetings, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiativesAdditional Information We Are Offering YouAn incredibly interesting newly created position.Valuable experience in a multidisciplinary team of passionate professionals.A workspace where everyone feels respected, valued, and free to be themselves.Inspiring and awesome colleagues as well as a forward-looking and very accessible leadership.Team events and celebrations.A flexible working schedule including homeworking whenever possible.We are an equal opportunity employer that does not discriminate on the basis of any legally protected status.Please note, AI is used as part of the application process.
