As a Global Payroll Specialist, you’ll take a hands-on role in running and processing accurate and compliant payroll for employees across the U.S. and Canada. This is a high-volume role where you’ll process bi-weekly payroll cycles, reconcile data, and ensure everything balances correctly. Using SAP/ADP GlobalView and Kronos, you’ll investigate variances, validate payroll data, resolve discrepancies, and assist with payroll audits and tax filings. You’ll also be a trusted point of contact, responding to employee payroll inquiries via ServiceNow.At Sage, we're transforming our global payroll operations with a commitment to efficiency and innovation in payroll processing. Sage Copilot is a prime example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1vRW5YfAeecAccelerate your career at a stable, global tech company, with values you can be proud of - "We Do the Right Thing": Human, Trust, Bold & Simply - where you’ll benefit from flexible working (2 days from home) and 40 paid hours a year for volunteering via our Sage Foundation.Key Responsibilities:Payroll Processing: Run and reconcile high-volume, multi-state U.S. and Canadian bi-weekly payroll using ADP GlobalView Payroll.Compliance & Reporting: Ensure payroll complies with federal, state, provincial, and local regulations; support quarterly and year-end tax filings, audits, and reconciliations while safeguarding all proprietary, employee, and payroll data with strict confidentiality.System Use: Validate and manage payroll data flowing from SAP HRIS and Kronos timekeeping systems.Reconciliations: Perform regular checks on taxes, deductions, garnishments, commissions, and other payments to ensure accuracy.Issue Resolution – Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries, ensuring proper documentation and controls are in place.Documentation & Controls – Maintain payroll process documentation and follow established internal control procedures.Customer Focus & Communication: Maintain a customer-centric approach, ensuring high levels of employee satisfaction and responding to inquiries via ServiceNow tickets, phone, and email promptly and effectively.Collaboration & Versatility: Serve as a backup when needed for 1 additional country (will learn on the job)Benefits?
