And that’s where you come in.Cairo, Egypt (On-Site)Position Summary:He/she as the Global Project Office Manager (POM), is a PMO Team member seconded within the project to lead the operational missions including:Provide support to all project stakeholders, including those belonging to other Domains or Competence Centers when participating to the projectTake into account all information provided by each Work Package Managers. PMs from Different PM BLsReport evidence of gaps and drifts as soon as appearing, for the benefit of the Project Manager and the WP ManagerPropose possible solutionsProvide functional support to the WP Managers in all PMO’s expertise areasProvide KPIs internally and externally: Project Performance, Technical and Procurement Progress,Manage Planning Team to align Schedule with CDRL and Payment MilestonesManage CDRL Submissions (manage the Doc Controller) and provide project progress KPIs. Manage the Project Dashboard monthly updates, with inputs from all BLs project dashboardsSupport the General Project Manager in planning and following the weekly meeting, monthly meetings. Ensure proper tracking of all Project actionsEssential Functions / Key Areas Responsibility:Regarding the activities which are delegated to him/her, the Project Office Manager (POM), performs the following actions with the support of relevant experts:Structuring and planning: provide assistance to the Project Manager when defining the PBS, WBS, OBS, Master Schedule and RAM - Consolidate corresponding workload. Consolidating CBB/EAC: liaising with the Finance Controller, consolidate budget and costs, perform gap analysisManaging Risks & Opportunities: elaborate and maintain the Risks & Opportunities Register, track risk mitigation and opportunities shaping plansProducing KPIs: prepare reporting and ensure action plan follow-upManaging data: define and implement data management plan, prepare corresponding deliverablesManaging configuration makes sure that the configuration management activities are planned (Configuration Management Plan or PMP) and performed by the relevant persons in charge (configuration manager, SEM, Industrial Manager, SvEM, etc.) and coordinates the associated deliverablesPreferred Qualifications:From 5 to 7+ years of experience in Project ManagementBachelor’s degree / Master’s degreeSpecific working experience either in Project Management, Bids, Sales, Contracts & Legal, Procurement, Engineering or OperationsProven performanceInternational experience considered an assetHas worked cross-functionally on a projectGood communication skillsWorking knowledge of Excel and KPI generationUnderstanding of Risk and Opportunity management within projectsThank you for your interest in Hitachi Rail.
