该职位来源于猎聘 THE ROLEThe purpose and scope of the role are to ensure a global viewpoint and strategy for improved strategic sourcing. This individual is responsible for creating an effective guide and toolset for the organization that allows for an informed knowledge base amongst the Materials Management and Supply Chain team to effectively deliver to internal customers. This includes detailed cost estimates and forecasts, trends in technology, market intelligence, and ensuring cost-effective contracts with key suppliers. The ultimate result is a functional road map that drives people, process, and technology with results of an optimized supply base, a quality-*** culture, excellent supplier relations, at competitive costs and supplier performance.Key deliverables and performance measures will be to:Define, publish, and ensure sustainment and efficacy of the Commodity-Supplier Strategy. The strategy will be informed by current and future business views in collaboration with stakeholders and key commodity market intelligence. (Cost, Quality, Service, Technology, Risk mitigation / dual source, payment terms, Supplier Consolidation, Master Pricing & Supply Agreement).Develop and effectively implement (including detailed communication and training) Strategic Toolset Deployment. This includes identifying and establishing a plan of action around individual strategic relationships and establishing an approach to competitive bidding, negotiations, VA/VE improvements, and transactional supplier consolidation. Additionally, this role will work cross-functionally to establish operational targets and improvements based on a 3–5-year plan. The toolset will also need to reflect a Supplier Risk Management plan and operating methods that provide accurate cost and pricing benchmark models to support long-term planning and critical industry intelligence for an informed request for quotes, negotiations, and sourcing decisions.Increase functional and cross-functional collaboration by establishing clear purpose and scope, communication tools, facilitation, management, and cadence that allows for effective execution of strategy deployment. Conducts regional RFQs to leverage multi-site spending and Total Cost & Service solutions for the business. Works with preferred and strategic vendors and internal stakeholders on Business Reviews, RFQs, and negotiations.In partnership with Global Quality Establish Strategic Supplier Performance Score Cards and KPIs. Our supplier strategy success is dependent upon vendor relationships and managing vendor performance. The supplier scorecard will provide Isola with standardization and objectivity to vendor evaluations. Capitalizes on emerging trends and makes decisions that sustain our long-term vision.TOP RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and continually refine sourcing strategies and approaches (including RFI/RFP and negotiations) to drive a sustainable competitive advantage and produce enhanced value and total-cost reduction:Evaluating sourcing procedures and recommending improvement strategies o Analyzing and calculating procurement costs and developing cost-reduction strategies o Preparing negotiation plans for discussions with key suppliers, including costs and terms of supply, service, and quality.Estimating risks and applying risk-minimizing techniquesProactively conduct market-intelligence activities that include performing industry, supply market, and supply chain research and analytics; uncovering trends and best practices; and creating cost estimates and forecasts to ensure the broader team is informed.Develop, track, and report on appropriate performance metrics to provide credible input to ongoing performance and annual operating plan process, proactively managing key suppliers to create P&L impacting value.Evaluate and develop procurement strategies to maximize efficiency, minimize cost, and negotiate supplier contracts to meet Isola's quality, cost, and service requirements with respect to supplier relationships.Share knowledge, insight, and advice in a way that contributes to long-term business strategies.Ensures policies and procedures are developed and maintained to keep up with changes within Isola and technology changes within the industry.Ensure clear and consistent payment terms that align with our short and long-term goals and proactively allow for the management of financial consequences and risks.Establish and agree upon vendor evaluation (due diligence) and performance metrics to clearly understand and easily share vendor performance.Collaborate and Contribute in the procure-to-pay process including vendor qualification and onboarding, vendor selection, internal approvals, issuance of purchase orders, management of payments, and quality assurance.Conduct a detailed annual review of suppliers increasing vendor evaluation consistency and identifying and acting on insights or opportunities to optimize the relationship.Collaborate with the purchasing and cross functional teams to identify and pursue new supplier opportunities globally.Lead Alternate Material and New Product Sourcing Supplier Assessment Gate reviews including the need for dual sourcing aligned with published commodity-supplier strategy.Monitor and evaluate the risk of geopolitical and regulatory factors that impact the supply chain and develop mitigation and/or contingency procurement strategies.Enable corporate sustainability goals supporting supplier diversity and ESG targets.QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience, a minimum of 15 years in a variety of supply chain roles with supplier management and commercial negotiationsLaminate or Semiconductor industry experience is required.Strong demonstrated experience and sound knowledge of negotiation strategies.Embrace the concepts of Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence using Lean and Six Sigma philosophy and methodologies to drive strategy deployment.Proven history in driving change, resolving issues, and achieving targets.Effective project management, negotiation, contract management, and interpersonal communication skillsIn-depth knowledge and experience of strategic sourcing processes, organizational leadership, and technology required to lead with minimal supervision.Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with collaborative management and training skills.Position could require up to 20% travel, including long-term international travel.Strong and thorough knowledge of operations disciplines, including safety, quality, engineering, SCM, finance, etc.Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills to manage complex information, assess problems, and develop effective solutions.Excellent verbal / written communication in
