The opportunityJoin our global Health & Safety (HSE) team within the Transformers Business Unit as our Global Training and Competency Program Lead for the HSE Function. Reporting to the Global Health & Safety Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive the Training Programs we develop on the HSE Function. You will help identify training needs, create engaging learning solutions, and ensure consistent, high-quality delivery of HSE training globally. This role will play a critical part in maintaining a safe, healthy, and accident-free work environment through targeted and effective learning platforms.Although it is advantage to have experience on HSE management, it's not necessary to be an HSE professional and candidates with solid experience designing and managing Training & Competency development programs will be welcome.How You’ll Make An ImpactDevelop a long-term HSE training and development strategy aligned with business goals and global compliance standards, with the support of our HSE expertsCapacity to rollout actions to identify training needs, capabilities, and scalability Design and manage structured HSE curriculums (structure and content) for all HSE-related trainingDevelop engaging training content tailored to various formats, including eLearning, instructor-led, on-the-job, and webinarsFacilitate required and recommended training sessionsCreate and communicate HSE training reports based on established metrics, monitor and evaluate training program effectivenessProactively suggest enhancements and modifications to improve engagement, learning outcomesDrive continuous improvement through regular feedback collection and analysis. Stay current on new methods and techniques for training, including technology and industry standardsYour backgroundBachelor’s degree in social science, EHS, Engineering or a related discipline Professional certifications such as BCSP, CSP, CHST, CIT is an advantageMinimum 8 years of direct experience with Training Programs, preferred if linked or connected with health and safety, including at least 4 years in a training management roleProven experience in developing and managing training programs in complex, global organizationsKnowledge of occupational safety and health management is an advantageProject management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams will be preferredExperience with Safety Management Software and Learning Management Systems (LMS)More About UsOur flexible working practices help you optimize personal and business performance while creating an environment where all employees can develop their skills and grow.Hitachi Energy is a global technology leader in electrification, powering a sustainable energy future through innovative power grid technologies with digital at the core.
