Quectel is global IoT technology developer and cellular module supplier of 5G, LTE, LTE-A, LPWA, Smart Module, C-V2X, GSM/GPRS, UMTS/HSPA(+) and GNSS modules. Due to business expansion on Serbian market in R&D Centre, Quectel is looking for motivated and proactive candidates to join our team in Belgrade.We are looking for: GNSS Field Application EngineerKey Responsibilities:Independently support GNSS integration for assigned customer accounts from design-in to production.Independently review customer PCB layouts, antenna placement, and RF routing, providing detailed improvement recommendations.Independently perform full system validation of modules, including LTE/5G GNSS, and sensors.Independently support customer-reported issues such as signal loss, fix delays, drift, or firmware bugs. Capture, analyze, and interpret NMEA logs, RTCM corrections, and RF traces.Coordinate directly with hardware, firmware, and R&D teams to resolve complex integration issues.Independently evaluate antenna types, biasing circuits, and ground plane design for optimal GNSS reception. Support customer PCB and enclosure design to reduce multipath and interference.Independently provide end-to-end technical support — for GNSS based projects.Develop automated or repeatable test procedures for internal or customer use.Able to provide on-site support, including onsite issue-solving and organizing communication with internal and external departments.Prepare and deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and training sessions for customers, distributors, or internal staff.Create and maintain application notes, test reports, and support documentation. Track and report field issues, trends, and customer feedback.Mentor junior engineers (P1-P2) and share expert knowledge on module issues with the team.Partner closely with the sales, product management, and engineering teams to support customer projects and communicate market needs.Other tasks as required by the chain of reporting and business needs based on the similar task level.Job Requirements:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering.3–5 years of experience in GNSS module integration, RF testing, embedded systems, or IoT devices. Proven experience supporting customer design-in, testing, or troubleshooting in real-world projects.Strong knowledge with GNSS integration, signal testing, or antenna design.Strong knwoledge of GNSS constellations (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou).Familiarity with serial communication protocols (UART, I2C, SPI).Knowledge of C/C++ or Python programming.Experience with using oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, multimeter, RF cables and attenuators, GNSS simulators.Understanding of PCB schematics and basic electronics (power, grounding, EMI).Ability to read and interpret NMEA sentences and GNSS logs.Fluent in English.What do we have to offer you?International environment and unique culture: we communicate openly with each other, assess ourselves honestly and enjoy working in a team.Foster “on the job” learning: we invest in the development of our employees.
