We are looking for a Director to lead all of Chase Center’s sustainability transportation efforts including transit use and parking operations. In this role, you will lead a team responsible for all Transportation Demand Management (TDM) efforts while operating the on-site parking garage and partnering with area parking garage owners, operators, and aggregators to find opportunities for additional parking opportunities. Additionally, you will work to increase the use of sustainable transportation methods for Chase Center as a transit-first venue while maximizing revenue and delivering a world class experience for all who come to our arena.
This position reports to the Vice President, Front of House. This is full-time role based onsite in San Francisco, CA.
Key Responsibilities include leading the development and implementation of strategies to ensure a world class parking and transportation experience for employees and guests while maximizing revenue, supporting the community, and reducing environmental impact; improving garage utilization and revenue generation including public parking plan implementation; growing sustainable transportation use by developing and implementing TDM programs; leading a team to ensure safe and efficient day-to-day operation of the on-site garage including event, non-event, retail and office tower parking operations; overseeing department budgets and collaborating with multiple departments, office tenants and retailers; establishing and driving relevant metrics; collaborating with local agencies, consultants, and transit groups; staying up to date with new trends, innovations, laws, and regulations related to transportation in California and the Bay Area; leading efforts to identify, negotiate and coordinate usage of nearby parking resources; managing third-party service providers; promoting industry best practices including tech-based solutions; and other duties as assigned.
Required Experience & Skills include a Bachelor's degree ideally in Business Administration or equivalent work experience; 7+ years in parking and transportation industry with 1-2 years of people management experience; experience working with security, event services, production, operations and finance departments preferred; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other parking-related devices and software; excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills; impeccable attention to detail; ability to build positive working relationships; ability to work extended hours including nights, weekends, on-call status, and holidays; physical demands include ability to sit for extended periods, walk long distances, and push/pull/carry/lift up to 50 lbs.
