You will develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive attendance at retirement planning classes held at colleges and universities in the suburbs of major metropolitan areas nationwide. You are both a strategic thinker and a hands-on operator with deep expertise in direct mail, Facebook advertising, and digital media. As the leader of a small internal marketing team, you will provide clear direction, set objectives, foster professional development, and identify and manage external partners.

Developing and refining a comprehensive multi-channel direct response marketing plan aimed at driving enrollment in retirement planning classesLeading the strategy and production of direct mail campaigns—from concept and list selection to design, printing, and mailingManaging digital lead generation initiatives, including Facebook/Meta advertising, paid search, display, and retargetingEstablishing metrics and dashboards to track campaign performance across all channelsImplementing a test-and-learn approach in all direct response efforts by conducting A/B tests on key variables and staying abreast of marketing innovations and toolsLeading and mentoring a small internal marketing team to encourage a data-driven, results-oriented cultureIdentifying and managing external partners by negotiating contracts and overseeing vendor work to ensure quality deliverables and alignment with strategyEnsuring all marketing materials and communications comply with relevant regulations for financial/retirement marketing while upholding the company’s brand voice and credibilityWhat you’ll bring to the role:

8–12+ years of progressive marketing experience, with a strong emphasis on direct response campaignsExperience in financial services or retirement planning marketing Proven track record of developing successful direct marketing programs, particularly in direct mail and digital advertisingStrong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret campaign data and ROI metricsAdvanced Excel skills or BI tool experienceDemonstrated success in leading a marketing team and managing cross-functional projectsExperience coordinating external vendors or agenciesHigh-level strategic planning and hands-on execution, combined with attention to detail and follow-throughExcellent written and verbal communication skills—strong presentation skills are a plus!Proficiency with marketing tech and tools such as CRM databases, email marketing platforms, digital ad platforms (Facebook/Meta, Google) and web analytics (Google Analytics)Our team members enjoy:
