Our client, a global leading IT company, is recruiting for a Golf Course Mechanic to join their business in Saudi Arabia.Position Title:Golf Course MechanicPosition Type1 year contractStart Date:ASAPLocation:Jeddah or Riyadh, Saudi ArabiaContact:Davor Molnar | +49 (0) 89 23 88 98 63About the role A golf course mechanic is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining all golf course equipment, including gas, diesel, and electric mowers, tractors, and golf carts.Key duties include performing preventative maintenance, handling repairs on mechanical and hydraulic systems, managing parts inventory, and training other staff on proper equipment use and safety.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintenance and repair: Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on all equipment, such as reel mowers, tractors, and golf carts.Preventative maintenance: Develop and implement a preventative maintenance schedule for all equipment, which includes tasks like oil changes, blade sharpening, and regular inspections.Inventory and purchasing: Manage inventory of parts and supplies, which includes ordering, receiving, and tracking items.Welding and fabrication: Perform welding and fabrication work on metal and wood as needed.Staff training: Train other crew members on the proper and safe operation of equipment.Record keeping: Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repairs, often using specialized software.Essential Skills and QualificationsProven knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.Ability to diagnose and fix a wide range of equipment, including gas, diesel, and electric engines.Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and technical manuals.Skills in welding and fabrication.Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.Good communication skills for training and coordinating with the team.A valid driver's license is typically required
