About The RoleWe are looking for a Data Analyst Intern who is curious, analytical, and eager to learn how data is used to support business decisions. This internship is designed for someone who wants hands-on exposure to real datasets, reporting, and basic analysis while being mentored by experienced team members.You will support the data team in collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and visualizing data to help teams understand performance, trends, and opportunities.What You Will DoAssist in collecting, cleaning, and validating data from multiple sourcesSupport the creation of dashboards, reports, and simple data visualizationsHelp analyze trends, patterns, and performance metricsWork with stakeholders to understand data requirements and business questionsMaintain data documentation and ensure data accuracySupport ad-hoc analysis requests from the teamLearn and follow data governance and best practicesWhat You Will NeedCurrently pursuing or recently completing a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics, or related fieldsBasic understanding of data analysis conceptsFamiliarity with Excel or Google Sheets (formulas, pivot tables)Basic knowledge of SQL is a plusComfortable working with numbers and datasetsStrong attention to detail and accuracyGood communication skills and willingness to ask questionsExposure to Python or R for data analysisExperience using data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar)Basic understanding of business or product metricsPrevious internship, coursework, or project involving data analysisAbout The TeamThe Data Analytics team serves as the lifeblood of GoPay, continuously supplying data and insights that enable the business to function, innovate, and evolve. Acting as a strategic partner and internal consultant, the team ensures stakeholders have timely, actionable insights for decision-making while driving automation to reduce manual data requests and improve efficiency.
