Driven by innovation and quality, Changan is excited to deliver intelligent, stylish, and sustainable mobility solutions tailored for Europe.About the RoleWe are looking for a well-qualified and motivated professional to join our team as a Government & Partnership Affairs Specialist – Europe, responsible for managing institutional relationships, facilitating strategic partnerships, and supporting innovative business model development within the European automotive industry. This role is ideal for candidates with 2–3 years of experience in an automotive OEM, government agency, or automotive industry association, who have a solid understanding of European regulatory frameworks and industry collaboration dynamics.Key Responsibilities:1. Government and Industry Association RelationsEstablish and maintain strong working relationships with European government bodies, regulatory agencies, and automotive industry associations (e.g. ACEA, VDA, CLEPA).Monitor, analyze, and report on key policy developments, regulatory trends, and government initiatives impacting the automotive industry.Represent the company in public affairs activities, policy dialogues, and industry working groups across the region.2. Strategic Cooperation and Joint VenturesSupport the planning, negotiation, and execution of joint ventures, strategic partnerships, and cooperative initiatives in Europe.Coordinate with legal, business development, and technical teams to ensure project compliance with local regulatory and business environments.Track partnership performance and help manage long-term cooperation frameworks.3. Business Model Research and InnovationConduct research on emerging business models in the European automotive and mobility sectors, including areas such as electrification ecosystems, digital mobility, and cross-border cooperation.Provide analytical insights and strategic recommendations to support localized business strategies and innovation planning.What We're Looking For:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in International Relations, Public Policy, Business Administration, Automotive Engineering, or related fields.2–3 years of professional experience in one or more of the following:1)A leading automotive OEM;2)A government department or regulatory body (transportation, industry, or trade);3)An automotive industry association or public affairs organization.Solid understanding of European automotive policy and regulatory frameworks, including the EU industrial strategy, EV regulations, and climate targets.Proven experience in cross-border stakeholder engagement and external communication with public institutions or industry groups.Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.Fluent in English; proficiency in Chinese or other European languages (German, Spanish, Italian, etc.) is a strong advantage.Willingness to travel across Europe for business engagements.
