Job Description
Job PurposeTo manage and strengthen relationships with government entities, ensuring compliance with Saudi regulations and facilitating smooth business operations.Key ResponsibilitiesRegulatory Compliance & Liaison• Act as the primary liaison with Saudi government ministries and authorities (e.g., Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, GOSI, MOFA, SAGIA/MISA, Chamber of Commerce).• Handle regulatory filings, renewals, licensing, and permits in compliance with Saudi laws.• Maintain strong relationships with government officials to facilitate smooth operations.Policy Monitoring & Advisory• Monitor changes in Saudi laws and regulations that impact business operations.• Advise management on government-related risks, compliance issues, and regulatory developments.Operational Support• Coordinate with HR for onboarding, offboarding, and governmental documentation of employees (e.g., Iqama, visas, medical insurance).• Support travel and government document processing for employees and expatriates overseas.Documentation & Reporting• Prepare reports and documentation for government submissions.• Ensure proper documentation and filing systems in line with internal policies and Saudi regulatory requirements.Portal Management• Manage and update official government portals, including:GOSI (General Organization for Social Insurance)Qiwa (Labor platform for employment contracts and Saudization)Absher (passport and civil affairs)Muqeem (residency and visa services)Mudad, Chamber of Commerce, and other relevant platformsDocumentation & Processing• Handle visa applications, Iqama renewals, medical insurance registration, and other employee-related government transactions.• Assist in obtaining and renewing business, professional, and engineering licenses.Saudization & Localization Compliance Advisory• Recommend and advise on compliance strategies related to Saudization and localization mandates.• Support internal departments in aligning workforce planning with nationalization targets.• Monitor relevant regulations and provide guidance on maintaining Saudization records and reporting practices.Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Public Relations, or a related field.• 7 to 10 years of experience in Government Relations within Saudi Arabia.• Proven experience liaising with key government bodies such as MHRSD, GOSI, MOFA, MISA, and the Chamber of Commerce.• Strong knowledge of Saudi labor law, visa processes, and corporate regulatory requirements.• Hands-on experience managing government portals (Qiwa, GOSI, Absher, Muqeem, Mudad, etc.).• High attention to detail with the ability to meet strict compliance deadlines.• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with government representatives.• Saudi national is a must.
