The successful candidate will rotate through all aspects of general x-ray including inpatients, outpatient, emergency, theatre and mobile radiography. There is a requirement to participate in after-hours shift and on call services due to the department’s 24-hour operation.Your role would be to provide supervision and leadership across general x-ray services by:Facilitating daily operationsProviding training, feedback and support to staff Communicating effectively and respectfullyPromoting a culture of safety Collaborating with internal and external stakeholdersParticipating in quality improvement and change projectsParticipating fully in clinical work to provide the best possible radiographic examinations ensuring patient comfort, welfare and safety in accordance with departmental protocols, ethics and code of conductOther duties as required by the Grade 4 General X-ray supervisors and/or Chief RadiographerQualifications And Experience RequiredBachelor of Applied Science in Medical Radiations or equivalentEligibility for A.S.M.I.R.T.
