Rystad Energy is looking for motivated candidates with a strong academic track record and an analytical mindset to fulfill the growing demand of our research across these groups.Analysts are the backbone of the company and are responsible for our databases and reports, which are used by clients around the world. We need more people to gather, analyze and present our research to our clients. As an analyst you will collaborate frequently with consultants, programmers, and sales and marketing people.We are seeking candidates who are graduating with a bachelor or master's degree in the fall of 2025 or spring of 2026 that want to join a leading energy intelligence research firm.TasksGather, process, analyze and synthesize information from multiple sourcesDevelop, maintain, and optimize energy data collection and processing workflowsDevelop new forecast models and processes to analyze our dataContribute and write client commentaries and reportsParticipate in external and internal presentationsContribute to sales and business development over timeEngage with clients to demonstrate our research and analysesTravel when needed for research trips, client engagement, and business development supportRequirements / SkillsStrong academic track record in relevant education field (e.g. engineering, finance, economics, math, data science)Desire to work with both the technical and financial aspects of the energy marketExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on attitudeOutstanding ability to synthesize data and information coming from multiple sources (quantitative and qualitative)Solid proficiency in Excel and Power PointStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenStrong interest in or direct work experience in the energy sectorFluent in English; other languages are a plusWe offerFlexible career path given competence and interestsHands-on mentorship with an experienced analystA diverse, dynamic and highly skilled working environmentCompetitive compensation and benefitsDevelopment opportunities in Norway and relocation internationallyApplication deadline: 21 November 2025.
