By delivering the right information to the right people at the right time, we enable lawyers and business leaders to stay informed, respond faster, and make confident decisions - all while saving valuable time.The OpportunityWe're looking for a detail-oriented and curious graduate to join Vable in a varied role spanning finance, operations, and legal administration. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career to gain broad business experience while working directly with the CEO.You'll learn financial management fundamentals, take ownership of contract management, and support the InfoSec team with compliance and risk management. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on variety, has exceptional attention to detail, and wants to learn and grow into additional responsibilities.What You'll Be Doing (Day To Day)Financial OperationsManage day-to-day bookkeeping, invoicing, and expense processing in XeroPerform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial recordsAssist in preparation of monthly financial reports and analysisSupport budget tracking and financial forecastingCoordinate with external accountants for year-end accounts and tax filingsOperations & Process ImprovementAssist with building and maintaining dashboardsManage KPIs on behalf of various departmentsSupport teams with documentation, cost tracking, and budget managementCreate and maintain process documentationPolicy & Compliance ManagementSupport Head of InfoSec with information security documentation and complianceCoordinate policy reviews, approvals, and implementation across the organisationConduct supplier risk assessments and audits for key high-risk suppliersMaintain current copies of supplier certifications, security credentials (2FA, etc.), and DPAsLegal & Contract AdministrationManage all client and supplier contracts through their lifecycleReview and finalise standard contractsMaintain organised contract repository with key dates, obligations, and renewal trackingCoordinate with external legal counsel when neededEssentialWhat you'll bringDegree level education with strong academic performanceRelevant experience in finance, operations, legal, consulting, or related fields (including internships or training contracts)Advanced proficiency in spreadsheets and document softwareSkilled in working with cloud-based systemsExceptional attention to detailFast learner eager to pick up new skills across multiple functionsSelf-directed and comfortable working independently in a remote environmentExcellent written communicationIntellectually curious with genuine desire to learnHighly DesirableLaw qualification (LLB, GDL, LPC, or SQE)MBA from a UK business schoolFinance or accounting degree or professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)Professional qualifications in compliance, risk management, or information securityExperience with Xero or similar cloud accounting softwareExperience with contract management or legal documentationWhy This Role MattersThis isn't a traditional, single-lane role.
