We are committed to challenging all forms of discrimination and celebrating and promoting diversity throughout our work.Position:Are you a strategic finance leader ready to make a meaningful impact in a respected local charity?We’re looking for a Head of Finance to lead our finance function, ensure excellent stewardship of resources, and support our long-term sustainability. You’ll work closely with the CEO, Treasurer, and leadership team to deliver our 2030 vision, driving financial clarity, compliance, and confidence across the organisation.What You’ll Do:Lead financial planning, reporting, and controls across the Age UK Oxfordshire GroupDeliver accurate, timely management accounts and statutory reportingOversee payroll, office management, and facilities to ensure operational efficiencyAct as Company Secretary, supporting governance and long-term strategyManage and develop a small, high-performing finance teamSupport cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiativesWhat You’ll Bring:Chartered accountant status (ICAEW, CIPFA, ACCA or equivalent)Senior finance experience, ideally in the charity or VCSE sectorStrong leadership, analytical, and communication skillsA collaborative mindset and commitment to our values and missionKnowledge of charity finance, governance, and compliance (desirable)This is a fantastic opportunity to join a trusted, forward-thinking charity with a clear appetite for change.
