Reporting to the Senior Geologist, the graduate geologist supports the exploration team in identifying and evaluating mineral resource opportunities. This entry-level position is designed to provide recent geology graduates with hands-on field experience, technical development, and exposure to early- to advanced-stage exploration activities. You must be ready and willing to take a “hands on, boots on the ground” approach. Contribute to mapping, rock chip sampling, soil sampling, and core logging under supervision. Participate in geological interpretations and contribute to targeting discussions. Assist with field logistics, including planning, mobilization, and safety procedures. Maintain a proactive attitude towards learning and professional development. It’s a 50/50 joint venture operation with Ma’aden. The first shipment of copper concentrate occurred in December 2015, and the mine commenced commercial production in July 2016.
