Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated Full-Time Graduate Investment Accountant to join our Wealth Management and Protection team based at our head office in the West Perth office. The Graduate Investment Accountant’s primary responsibility will be supporting the Manager in the timely and accurate completion of daily tasks and is crucial in ensuring our clients' investments expectations and deadlines aremet.Position ResponsibilitiesUpdating share investment transactions on a regular basis;Maintaining clients' superannuation and insurance records;Drafting of Statements of Advice;Preparation of standard correspondence (letters and emails);Receiving inbound and attending to outbound telephone calls with clients and third parties;Clarifying and resolving client queries and promoting customer satisfaction at every opportunity; andAssisting with other administration matters and general duties as requested.EssentialAs the successful Graduate Accountant you will have:Bachelor of Commerce or Financial Planning Qualifications are preferred as this role offers excellent growth prospects within our Wealth Management and Protection.A keen interest in Financial Planning.The desire and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment;Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong administrative and organisational skills;Well developed verbal and written communication skills;Ability to complete tasks within required timeframes to meet AAG, client and regulatory deadlines.High attention to detail and the ability to multi-task;Results-driven and team-oriented.Logical thinking, problem-solving skills and sound mathematical skills.Ability to complete self-directed tasks when necessary.Proficient in the use of our non-accounting systems such as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word), Apple Mail and Daylite.Trustworthy, honest and confidential at all times.Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
