ROLE- Graduate Product Design EngineerLOCATION- Haslemere, SurreyTERM- PermanentSALARY- £28,000-£32,000 per annum, dependent on experience My client is a specialist manufacturer. They are looking for a Graduate Product Design Engineer to join their team in Haslemere on a permanent basis.The Graduate Product Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:Degree qualified in Product Design, Industrial Design or similarInterested in developing a career in Design Engineering / Product Design Be proficient using 2D and 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite etc.Previous work experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment would be beneficialHands-on technical experience through your course Able to work to specific requirements and deadlinesExcellent attention to detailOrganised with excellent communication and teamwork skills The Graduate Product Design Engineer roles will involve:Using 2D and 3D CAD for concept design and producing technical drawingsLiaising with manufacturing providersTesting and prototype development Creating the required documentation for design as well as project reports / plansUpdating 3D models and drawingsInputting parts into the MRP system creating BOMsChecking drawings for sign offWorking in a small multi-disciplinary team on varied projectsIf you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible.
