Graduate R&D Engineer (suitable for recent EEE / Computer Engineering graduates)

About the RoleA leading global semiconductor company is seeking a recent EEE / Computer Engineering graduate to join its growing R&D Centre in Singapore. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate who wants to work on cutting-edge networking and semiconductor technologies, collaborating with experienced engineers on real-world product development and validation projects.In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience in hardware testing, automation, and system-level validation — helping ensure the performance and reliability of next-generation high-speed communication systems.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport system validation and testing of advanced semiconductor and networking productsPerform electrical verification and measurements using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other lab toolsAssist in validating interfaces such as SPI, I2C, and MDIOCollect, analyze, and document test data to ensure functionality and performanceCollaborate with design, firmware, and software teams to troubleshoot and resolve issuesContribute to test automation and data analysis using Python or similar scripting toolsParticipate in process improvements and learn from senior engineers in a supportive R&D environmentRequirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related fieldStrong interest in semiconductor systems, validation, and hardware testingBasic understanding of digital and analog circuits and communication interfaces (SPI, I2C, MDIO)Familiarity with Python or other scripting languagesHands-on experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.) through coursework or internships is a plusExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsEagerness to learn and collaborate in a global engineering environmentWhy JoinYou’ll be part of a dynamic R&D team working on technology that powers modern connectivity.
