Role Overview: The Graphic Design Manager will lead a dynamic team of designers and video editors to create compelling visual assets that elevate upGrad’s brand presence across digital, social, web, and print platforms. This role requires a blend of strategic design thinking, creative leadership, and hands-on design execution to ensure brand consistency and creative excellence across all marketing collaterals. Key Responsibilities:Lead and mentor a team of graphic designers and motion graphics artists, driving design excellence and collaboration. Oversee the conceptualization and execution of campaigns, digital creatives, video storyboards, landing pages, and event branding. Partner with marketing, content, and product teams to translate business goals into impactful visual communication. Define and maintain the company’s visual identity, ensuring cohesive brand aesthetics across all channels. Manage the creative workflow, set deadlines, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality output. Review and approve key design deliverables; coach team members on visual composition, typography, and storytelling. Stay ahead of design trends, tools, and technologies to innovate visual storytelling for the brand.Collaborate with external agencies, freelancers, and printers as needed. Oversee asset management and ensure adherence to brand and copyright guidelines. Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field. 5+ years of professional design experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial capacity. Strong portfolio showcasing brand campaigns, digital marketing creatives, and motion/infographics projects. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro) and Figma. Hands-on understanding of digital/social media formats and visual storytelling for education brands. Excellent communication, feedback, and project management skills.
