The RoleGraphic Designer (Brand and Systems)V&A Design Studio(£40,770 – £44,000)We’re looking for a talented, passionate and practical Graphic Designer to join our team.What We’re Looking ForThe ideal person will be someone passionate about graphic design and committed to bringing our V&A brands to life across everything we do. You will work across a range of design projects, from creating visual identities to crafting brand systems. In addition to individual projects, we’re looking for someone who wants to contribute to how the brand shows up in an ongoing and evolving way and pushing the design workflow to stay up-to-date by ensuring design software, systems, creative and technical skills across the team new software or ways of working.The Ideal Candidate Will Have Proven ability to develop and translate projects from concept to final artwork across multiple outputs and formats, with strong typographic and layout skills Experience in artworking imagery and producing work for print and digital, ideally including environmental print, and understanding production processes. Experience working with brand identity and maintaining brand guidelines and graphic standards Have an excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (including fantastic typographic, image retouching and motion skills). Be organised with the ability to work with both speed and accuracy. Bring excellent communication skills to maintain good relationships with our range of internal clients and ensure communication between the design studio and print unit on planned works, timelines and completed artworks.The V&A Design Studios works to ensure everyone can explore, be energised by and see themselves in the V&A, because difference fuels creativity and the V&A belongs to us all.PortfolioRequiredTo submit your portfolio, please include a URL alongside your personal statement.
