CI is hiring for a talented and enthusiastic graphic designer. The primary role and responsibility of the Graphic Designer will be to develop engaging, brand-aligned creative materials that support our marketing, events, and corporate communications initiatives. You’ll work on a wide range of projects, including digital and print assets, conference branding, video content, and social media visuals. You will collaborate with internal teams to conceptualize and execute creative solutions that communicate our value and elevate the C5 brand across multiple platforms.This department supports over 140+ conferences held domestically and internationally by C5 Group Inc. The position will report to Graphic Design Team Lead and will be a critical, contributing team member working closely with the Marketing, Production & Sponsorship departments to support the successful event delivery.About CI:The Canadian Institute (CI) is devoted to providing the business intelligence that decision makers need to respond to challenges both here in Canada, and around the world. Headquartered in Toronto, CI has grown to produce more than 140 events each year, attended by thousands of senior delegates from across the country.Core Responsibilities:Design marketing and event collateral such as brochures, flyers, digital ads, and email templates.Create and edit video content (promotional clips, event highlights, social media videos, and speaker interviews).Develop visual assets for websites and social media campaigns.Design on-site event materials including signage, stage graphics, name badges, and backdrops.Work within established brand guidelines to maintain visual consistency across all platforms and brands.Collaborate with marketing and events teams to translate messaging into clear, compelling visuals.Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Stay current with design trends, emerging video formats, and creative tools.Other responsibilities based on business needEducation and Qualifications:Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field.3–5 years of professional design experience, preferably in marketing, corporate communications, or events.Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat).Strong skills in video creation and editing using Premiere Pro or After Effects.Understanding of digital design principles (web, email, social media).Strong sense of layout, typography, and visual hierarchy.Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.Ability to take creative direction while also contributing original ideas.Equal OpportunitiesThe Canadian Institute(CI) values the diversity (all the ways in which we are different) of our colleagues.
