We are seeking an experienced creative professional to help design our media/advertising/marketing collateral - both digital and print. This position requires an ability to communicate effectively both verbally and via email with internal staff as well as external suppliers, vendors and partners. Typical responsibilities include working with the marketing team and business unit leaders to design internal and external materials that reflect established corporate brand standards while incorporating innovative and original concepts.The ideal candidate for this position will be someone who wants to:Work with a supportive, tight-knit teamGrow in their careerImprove their communication skillsLearn to adapt and overcome challengesStrengthen their organizational techniquesBecome a better leader/team playerResponsibilities of the Graphic Designer include, but are not limited to:Design, develop and produce digital and print materials to support and promote the DXP brand. Key projects may include identity standards, logos, newsletters, email marketing, trade show graphics, signage, event flyers, social media images, postcards and brochures.Ensure consistency and maintain brand integrity and compliance across all creativeRecreate, reformat, and resize existing advertisements and related campaign collateralDevelop templates for company-wide flyers, newsletters, email marketing, etc.Perform ad hoc requests, projects, and special assignments from senior managementSupport and participate in industry trade show activities and eventsCollaborate with marketing and other professionals to coordinate brand awareness and marketing effortsProvide general support to our Marketing DepartmentQualifications of the Graphic Designer include, but are not limited to:Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field2-5 years of experience in professional design roleHigh proficiency in Adobe Creative SuiteProficient in Microsoft OfficeSolid understanding of graphic design, typography and composition principlesAbility to create and organize new assets for projectsStrong attention to detailAbility to effectively assess priorities and work well under tight deadlinesTop notch verbal and written communication skillsAbility to gain a full understanding of the scope of each project and how to present and explain your solutionDemonstrated talent (portfolio showcasing examples of relevant assets)Experience designing for both print and webUnderstanding of production, pre-press, print and web-based technologiesUnderstanding of current design trends and patternsSolid understanding of marketing principlesWould Be a PlusUI/UX experienceFigma experienceSalesforce/Pardot experienceVideo/animation experienceEmail marketing experienceWeb design experienceLink to online portfolio included on resume#zrjjAdditional InformationSome travel may be required to attend events and trade showsMust have home office with good Wi-FiIdeally live within a 40-mile radius from corporate officePhysical Demand: Standing, sitting, bending, reaching, moving and carrying trade show products and other eventsitems as neededWorking Conditions: Hybrid position (Corporate Office - Houston, TX location and home office)Training/Certifications: N/AShift Time/Overtime: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pmTravel: 20% travel required - Must have clear driving record according to company guidelineDXP is always looking for individuals who want to join a team of employees who have the desire to achieve remarkable accomplishments together.
