Graphic Designer for an MIT Startup Revolutionizing Cancer Screening

About Us:We’re a Healthcare startup founded by MIT alumni, developing a breakthrough diagnostic platform that aims to transform gastrointestinal health monitoring. Our mission is to make early disease detection accessible and equitable starting with a smart IoT device that redefines how diagnostics are done.We’re currently in stealth mode, backed by industry experts in medical technology and engineering.Position Overview: We are looking for a Graphic Designer who thrives on ownership and impact to design a distinctive, consistent identity for our groundbreaking Smart IoT product. This device is set to transform gastrointestinal diagnostics, making healthcare more accessible and equitable through a non-invasive solution for cancer screening and other medical applications. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain a consistent visual brand identity that communicates our mission and values. Refine brand visuals including color palettes, typography, and imagery. Create marketing materials such as brochures, product packaging, digital assets. Collaborate with UX designers to curate UI design systems in alignment with brand identity. Design engaging content for brand presence across platforms. Design compelling ads showcasing our product’s features and value. Establish visual standards for product UI consistency. Coordinate shoots or produce illustrations in alignment with the brand identity. Establish visual and vocal standards for user reach. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Graphic Design or related field.3-5 years of relevant experience as a Graphic Desinger.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and other design tools.Strong portfolio demonstrating brand identity, UI, and creative versatility.Understanding of user-centered design principles and accessibility.Creative, detail-oriented, and collaborative mindset.Knowledge of healthcare/medtech standards is a plus.Benefits:We offer compensation package with performance-based bonuses that reflects the high level of ownership and impact in this role.Direct collaboration cross-functional leaders.
