Employment type: Full time - 5 days a weekSalary $70K + Super Who we are:For the last eight years, The Dirt Company has been focussed on bringing sustainable, design-led and modern solutions to a very boring product category - laundry.We’ve won the hearts of hundreds of thousands of people across Australia and New Zealand not just because we offer a great product, but because we deliver it in a way that will make our customers feel absolutely thrilled about how well they’re doing the ‘adult’ things in life. We have grown our company and our customer base with a nimble and versatile team of marketers, freelance designer / copywriters, performance agencies, and an obsession with great, fun brand work. Now we’re ready to bring a design hand in-house. We’re looking for someone who can take the spark of an idea and roll it out with finesse, human connection and brand polish.In the last 12 months, we’ve:Launched our top performing stain remover under the brand platform “TMI: We don’t believe in it”, which encourages everyone to feel comfortable about the fact that bodies stain. Launched a collaboration with incense brand Gentle Habits, a limited edition version of our Advanced Wash. Built out (but not yet launched) our first artist product collaboration with an indigenous artist from Fitzroy Crossing, which we shot in Broome, WA. We have had a fantastic period of growth because we know laundry is a cumbersome part of your life and we can make it feel less of a chore.Who we’re looking for:We’re looking for a junior-mid designer who has strong conceptual thinking and a great design skillset which includes video editing. Your folio should demonstrate your curiosity for the latest design trends, as well as your ability to integrate big ideas into well thought through execution.In this role, you’ll work across all digital mediums from campaign concept to design and rollout. You’ll work closely with the founder and the marketing manager and marketing assistant, as well as a handful of our favourite freelancers. This role suits someone who genuinely finds joy in executing a great idea well, regardless of which platform it will live on.Your monthly tasks might include:Collaborating with the team to bring brand and campaign ideas to lifeCreating moodboards and visual directions for upcoming launches and campaigns Organising campaign and mini content shoots, including sets, shot lists and editsExecuting and rolling out assets for our monthly campaigns including landing pages, social media and ads Weekly ideation sessions about new ad and content ideas Coordinating, filming, editing and the people you need for reels and contentDesigning and editing digital ads Participating in a brand refresh project with a creative agencyHelping maintain design systems, templates and brand librariesManaging your time while juggling multiple projects and deadlinesSkills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field1+ years of experience (agency, freelance, or a folio that proves you’ve got the goods)Proficient in Canva, Capcut and Adobe Creative Suite (or equivalents)Strong design craft including in motion / video edition Understanding of social media’s role in storytelling and brand buildingWhat you can expect at The Dirt CompanyA competitive salary to match your experience + super on top A seat at the table in a high growth environmentA close working relationship with the CEO and general manager + a GREAT bunch of colleaguesFree breakfast and coffee at the office + a free product allowanceSteady working hours (8-4 + breaks, in keep with the warehouse team)Applications: Please submit your CV with a link to your folio via Seek: https://www.seek.com.au/job/88558347/applyOnly successful applicants will be contacted.
