Brand Strategy and Identity Responsibilities Develop Brand Identity Systems: Create and evolve corebrand elements, including logos, color palettes, typography,and visual style guides. This involves understanding theclient's mission, vision, and target audience to build a visualidentity that resonates. Experience in softwares includingFigma and Adobe Suite is required. Establish Brand Guidelines: Produce a comprehensive brandbook or set of guidelines that dictate how the brand's visualidentity should be applied across all touchpoints, ensuringconsistency. Design Execution and Production Create Marketing and Communication Materials: Design awide range of collateral, both digital and print. This includes:Digital: Website graphics, social media assets, emailtemplates, banner ads, and presentations.Print: Brochures, sell sheets, case studies, businesscards, and packaging. Conceptualize and Illustrate: Generate creative conceptsand design solutions from scratch, either by hand or usingprofessional software like the Adobe Creative Suite(Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Figma, Canva). Manage Design Projects: Oversee multiple design projectssimultaneously, from initial concept to final delivery,ensuring that all work is completed on time and withinscope. Collaboration and Communication Liaise with Clients: Act as a key point of contact for clients,presenting design concepts, incorporating feedback, andensuring that designs accurately reflect their brand's desiredimage and messaging. Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with otherteams within the firm, such as marketing strategists,copywriters, and project managers, to ensure creativealignment with overall campaign goals. Present and Justify Work: Be able to articulate and defenddesign choices to both clients and colleagues, explaining howthe creative decisions support the brand strategy. Continuous Improvement Stay Current on Trends: Continuously research and stay upto-date on the latest design trends, software, andtechnologies to ensure the firm's creative output remainsfresh and competitive. Quality Assurance: Ensure all final designs meet the higheststandards of quality and accuracy, with meticulous attentionto detail. This includes reviewing designs for errors beforethey are published or sent to a printer.What You NeedSkills & Experience Preferred:Key Qualifications Hard Skills (Technical & Foundational) Expertise in Design Software: This is non-negotiable for ourteam. We expect candidates to be highly proficient in theAdobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator (for logos andvector graphics), InDesign (for multi-page layouts), andPhotoshop (for image manipulation and digital assets),Figma (for UI and UX design, development andpresentation), Microsoft PPTX, Canva. A Strong Portfolio: Your portfolio is the single mostimportant qualification you can show us. It shouldshowcase a diverse range of projects and demonstrate yourdesign process. We want to see how you approach aproject, from initial concept sketches and mood boards tothe final product. Demonstrated experience in professionalservices is important. Deep Understanding of Design Principles: We need to seethat you have a solid grasp of core design principles. We'relooking for an understanding of color theory, typography,and layout—the fundamentals that make a design effective,not just attractive. Knowledge of Print & Digital Production: Our team worksacross many different mediums. We need a designer whounderstands the technical requirements for both print anddigital—from file formats like vector vs. raster to colormodes like CMYK vs. RGB. Soft Skills (Interpersonal & Strategic) Creative Problem-Solving: An agency designer isn't just anartist; they are a problem-solver. We need you to take aclient's brief and solve their communication problemthrough your design. Strong Communication Skills: Our team constantlycommunicates with clients, account managers, andcopywriters. You must be able to articulate the "why"behind your design choices clearly and confidently. Adaptability and Resilience: The agency environment isfast-paced. You’ll hopefully be juggling multiple projectswith tight deadlines, and we need you to acceptconstructive feedback and be willing to iterate on designsas needed. Collaboration and Teamwork: We believe that the bestwork comes from collaboration. We're looking for someoneWho Can Work Effectively With Other Team Members Toensure a smooth workflow and successful projectoutcomes. Attention to Detail: Precision is key to our work. We expectyou to have a meticulous eye for detail, ensuring perfectalignment, consistent branding, and flawless execution inevery single project. Education & Experience Education: While a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or arelated field is a common qualification, a stellar portfolioand relevant experience can often outweigh formaleducation. Experience: We typically look for a few years ofprofessional experience, preferably in an agency setting.This shows us you’re familiar with the fast-paced, clientfacing nature of the work. For senior roles, a track record ofleading projects is essential.Ideally, we will find someone who is not just able to create prettyvisuals, but a versatile creative who can solve business problemsand translate a client’s goals into a compelling visual language.Competencies/PersonalityTraitsCollaborative, ego-free, detail-oriented, professional with poise,(Working with senior-level executives requires a high degree ofprofessionalism. This includes being punctual, organized, andpolished in all interactions. They must be able to remain calm underpressure and handle critical feedback with grace and a constructivemindset.), excellent communications skills, strategic and analyticalthinking (ask why and how), and be flexible and adaptable.Prior ExperienceDescribe the prior working experience acandidate should have.We typically look for a few years of professional experience,preferably in an agency or multi-services professional servicessetting. This shows us you’re familiar with the fast-paced, clientfacing nature of the work.Performance MeasurementHow can we measure performance forthis job profile (KPIs/Metrics/Targets)Efficiency (Project & Process) Project Completion Rate: The percentage of projectscompleted on time and within the original scope. Time Spent vs. Estimated Time: A comparison of the actualtime spent on a project versus the initial time estimate. Thishelps us improve future project quoting. Number of Revisions/Iterations: The average number ofrounds of client revisions required to finalize a design.Fewer revisions often indicate better initial communicationand understanding of the client's needs. Utilization Rate: The percentage of a designer's availabletime that is spent on billable client work. A higher utilizationrate indicates a well-managed workload.Quality (Brand & Design) Brand Consistency Score: A metric that measures how wellthe final designs adhere to the client's established brandguidelines (e.g., color, typography, logo usage). This can bemeasured through audits or checklists. Client Satisfaction Score (CSAT): Feedback from clients,often gathered via post-project surveys, on theirsatisfaction with the design work and the designer'sprofessionalism and communication. Stakeholder Satisfaction: Internal feedback from projectmanagers, copywriters, and other team members on thecollaborative process and design quality. Impact (Business & Marketing) Client feedback: Qualitatively, we will be meeting withclients throughout the project and asking for feedback onour work product including brand identity materials andcontent and digital assets for campaigns, ads, events, etc. Conversion Rate: The percentage of people who take adesired action (e.g., fill out a form, download a whitepaper,make a purchase) after interacting with the design. This is acommon metric for digital assets like landing pages andbanner ads. Click-Through Rate (CTR): For digital marketing assets likeemails or ads, this measures the percentage of people whoclick on the creative, indicating its ability to grab attentionand drive action. Brand Awareness & Recognition: While harder to quantify,this can be measured through metrics like social mediamentions, web traffic, and search volume for the brandname following a new campaign or brand identity launch. Return on Investment (ROI): This is a high-level metric thatmeasures the financial return generated by the designwork.
