We bring a unique combination of growth marketing and payment to the e-commerce industry by connecting online shops with millions of affluent members from global leading travel and banking loyalty programs.As Group Accountant at Pointspay, your key responsibility is to support the Finance department in delivery of an accurate picture of Pointspay’s financial performance across various group entities in multiple geographic locations. You will report directly to the Group CFO and handle the day-to-day accounting processes such as booking invoices, conducting reconciliations, ensuring completeness of monthly accounting and supporting Group CFO in the month-end processes.Your key tasksUnderstand how Pointspay earns revenue.Gain an understanding of Pointspay’s entity structure by preparing consolidated reports, etc.Handle merchant invoicing and settlement payments (based on their settlement frequency and other specifics).Manage client invoicing (each client is invoiced differently and requires specific documentation; understand how advance payments/deposits work, and what information is shared with clients and where).Work with apps and platforms such as QuickBooks, Payhawk, Adyen, Stripe, and Pay.nl.Prepare and submit VAT reports (for PPM).Assist with client and merchant support in finance-related matters.Assist in administrative matters.Support the CFO and Management Team in preparing reports and handling other assigned topics.Collaborate using internal systems such as OnPayment and GitHub (ticket management).Your core skillsUniversity degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant qualification (e.g., ACCA).
