ResponsibilitiesCurriculum and Instruction:Design and implement lesson plans using a variety of teaching methods, such as storytelling, games, and creative activities, to support early literacy, numeracy, and social skills.Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and play.Ensure the welfare and safety of all children in the nursery.Assessment and Reporting:Monitor and assess children's development and progress through regular observation.Maintain records of children's progress, attendance, and health.Communicate regularly with parents to discuss their child's development and progress.Classroom Management and Collaboration:Foster a positive and supportive atmosphere.Promote good behavior and help children learn to interact with each other positively.Collaborate with other teachers, staff, and sometimes external professionals like speech therapists or health visitors.Supervise basic needs activities like nap and snack times.Administrative and Professional:Maintain a clean and organized classroom that adheres to health and safety standards.Prepare for lessons by gathering necessary materials.Stay up-to-date on the latest educational initiatives and best practices.
