Job Description

The Group Head of Treasury will report directly to the Group CFO and act as a key strategic partner in optimizing the Group’s liquidity, funding structure, and capital allocation. The role is responsible for leading the treasury function across all group subsidiaries, ensuring sufficient liquidity for daily operations, driving working capital efficiency, securing short-term and medium-term financing, managing banking relationships, and supporting the Group CFO in capital structure decisions aligned with the company’s growth and expansion strategies.Key responsibilities:Develop and implement the Group Treasury strategy aligned with corporate financial and growth objectives.Establish treasury policies, procedures, and controls in line with best practices and regulatory standards.Define liquidity targets, risk appetite, and funding structure for the Group.Oversee daily cash positioning, liquidity forecasting, and working capital optimization across group entities.Implement cash pooling, netting, and centralized treasury models to maximize efficiency.Monitor and enhance cash conversion cycle performance in collaboration with finance and operations.Secure and manage short-term and medium-term financing facilities (revolving overdrafts, medium-term loans).Negotiate competitive terms with local and international banks to support ongoing operations and strategic projects.Optimize capital structure through effective management of group debt portfolio, repayment plans, and refinancing strategies.Prepare financing plans to support expansion, R&D investment, CAPEX projects, and acquisitions.Monitor loan covenants, compliance, and interest cost optimization.Ensure compliance with group risk management policies and IFRS reporting standards.Develop robust short-term, medium-term, and long-term cash flow forecasts.Provide strategic insights on liquidity trends, funding gaps, and leverage ratios to senior management.Report treasury KPIs, including cash visibility, debt utilization, interest costs, and liquidity coverageLead the implementation, optimization, and continuous enhancement of treasury workflows within Oracle ERP (e.g., Oracle / Oracle Financials).Ensure seamless integration between treasury processes, cash modules, accounts payable/receivable, and banking interfaces within Oracle.Enhance automation related to cash positioning, payments, and intercompany settlements using Oracle functionalities and Treasury Management System (TMS) integrations. Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Finance and/or Accounting and/or Economics. MBA or CFA/CPA preferred.10–15 years of treasury experience, minimum 5 years in a leadership role, ideally in pharmaceuticals, FMCG, or manufacturing.Proven track record in cash flow management, structuring short-term and medium-term loans, working capital funding, and debt refinancing.
