Strategic leadership role driving scalable Fulfilment & TransformationMelbourne or Sydney | Onsite Parking | Flexible hybrid workJoin a company that is dynamic and agile Position OverviewANC is looking for a Group Manager - Programmes & Projects, based in Melbourne or Sydney, to lead group-wide transformation through the delivery of large-scale, cross-functional programmes that power growth, service excellence, and the scaling of our Integrated Fulfilment Network (IFN).This is a pivotal Senior Leadership role responsible for driving the successful execution of major initiatives including client integrations, system implementations, infrastructure readiness, and strategic network expansion. You will champion structured delivery, uplift program maturity, and deliver measurable outcomes across cost, service, and sustainability.What you’ll be doingLead new client integrations and expansions, ensuring fast, reliable delivery with minimal disruption to service.Create and manage detailed project plans, incorporating client requirements, key milestones, testing, and transition readiness.Oversee the Integrated Fulfilment Network (IFN) Scaling Programme and lead innovation projects from concept to commercial deliveryBuild and lead cross-functional teams with clear roles and accountability to meet program objectives on time, ensuring strong governance and risk management.Strengthen program management maturity by implementing standardised frameworks and applying systems thinking to simplify complexity and improve efficiency.Track and realise benefits across cost, service, and sustainability, manage risks, and optimise resource planning.Promote structured problem-solving, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision making.Engage and collaborate with stakeholders, managing expectations and ensuring alignment with business goals.Coach and guide cross-functional teams while controlling project scope and change to maintain delivery commitments and mitigate risks.Manage financial planning, monitor project performance against benefits, and report progress to leadership, ensuring projects meet budgets and deliver expected outcomes.What are we looking forAt least 7 years’ experience managing large-scale programs in complex, high-growth environments.Logistics/Transporation industry experience in highly desirable.Demonstrated experience in portfolio/program/project management methodologies, with certifications such as MSP® or PRINCE2®. Strong background in systems thinking, design thinking, and performance management frameworks.Strong commercial acumen with a track record of improving cost-to-serve and delivering KPIs. Experience leading cross-functional teams across operations, technology, and customer functions.Experience in program governance, resource planning, benefit realisation, and risk management.
