The Groups & Events Coordinator / Executive plays a vital role in bringing those experiences to life - managing group bookings, coordinating event details, and ensuring flawless execution from first contact to final farewell. This position combines exceptional organizational skills with the art of personalized service, embodying the legendary Ritz-Carlton commitment to excellence.Key Responsibilities:Group Sales & CoordinationHandle group inquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring all details are accurately captured and communicatedPrepare and manage group contracts, proposals, and confirmations in accordance with company standardsWork closely with the Sales, Reservations, and Revenue teams to optimize group room allocations and maximize revenue potentialMaintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel facilities, services, and local attractions to enhance guest experiencesEvent Planning & ExecutionCoordinate with clients and internal departments (e.g. Culinary, Banquets, Front Office, Housekeeping) to ensure seamless delivery of all event requirementsConduct detailed pre-event meetings and provide on-site support throughout the eventEnsure all event details - from meeting room setup to menu selections - reflect The Ritz-Carlton’s standards of excellenceMonitor guest satisfaction during and after events, addressing feedback promptly and graciouslyAdministration & ReportingMaintain accurate records in the sales and catering systems (Opera S&C)Assist with billing and follow-up correspondence to ensure timely payment and client satisfactionContribute to the preparation of monthly reports, forecasts, and performance analysisYour Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferredMinimum 1–2 years of experience in events, group sales, or catering within a luxury hotel environmentExperience with hotel sales and event management systems (Opera) is an advantageExceptional attention to detail and organizational abilitiesStrong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to manage multiple priorities with poise and professionalismA natural passion for service and a commitment to exceeding guest expectationsFluent in English (additional languages are a plus)Our Benefits:Become part of the Top 1% of Hospitality Professionals: Stand out with your experience in a prestigious environment and among professionalsWork in a 5-star environment: Enjoy working in a modern and luxurious workplace, equipped with high-quality amenitiesExcellent career opportunities worldwide: Benefit from great career prospects in 5-star hotels around the worldRegular training & development opportunities: Take advantage of our ongoing training and in-depth development opportunities for professional and personal growthMotivated and supportive team: Work in a dedicated, friendly team that collaborates on achieving successUnique employee benefits: Enjoy numerous global perks such as hotel stays, Food & Beverage discounts, retail discounts, free uniform cleaning and meals, wellbeing and recognition programs, and many more benefitsCompetitive compensation: Receive an attractive salary, along with a guaranteed annual pay increase based on your performanceThe statutory gross minimum remuneration for this position, based on full-time employment, is € 2.263,00 per month.
