[Hanoi] QA Engineer (Manual & Automation)

Therefore, our German and US senior experts offer local consultancy for European and US clients.As a member of Eastgate, you will be emerged in a professional and flexible environment where you have opportunities to express your own ideas and improve your skill set through many interesting full-cycle projects.Your responsibilities:Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for Web and API applications.Collaborate with the development team to review requirements, clarify functionalities, and identify potential risks.Build, maintain, and optimize automation test scripts using Playwright or Cypress, or other relevant frameworks.Integrate and execute automated tests within CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality validation.Perform functionality, regression, integration, performance, and compatibility testing as required.Participate in test planning, estimation, and test strategy discussions.Ensure test coverage and maintain high standards of product quality across releases.Contribute to improving QA processes, tools, and best practices across the team. The ideal candidate:Major in Information Technology (University/College)At least 2 years of experience in software testing, including a minimum of 1 year in automation testing.Hands-on experience in Web and API testing.Proficient in using test automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or other automation frameworks in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript.Experience integrating automation tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitLab CI,).Solid understanding of relational database concepts and ability to write and execute SQL queries.Good understanding of software development processes.Good command of English, especially in reading and writing.Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.Experience working in cloud environments is an advantage.Why you’ll love working at Eastgate:Attractive salary package Eastgate Software is a Global Fortune 500 Preferred Vendor, so you will have an opportunity to work with many IT Experts around Europe and USA Be emerged in a professional and motivating environment where you have opportunities to express your ideas and improve your skill set through many interesting full-cycle projects Flexible working time: 9:30 a.m to 6:30 p.m, Monday to Friday, No Overtime ( Only 8 working hours) Performance review and appropriate gratification: twice a year 13th month salary + Project bonus Free snacks, video gaming & movie nights, team social and sport activities 16 leave days/year (will be added an extra day each year and maximum 20 days for annual leave)
