Job Description

Key Responsibilities:Oversee all stages of broiler hatchery operations, from egg receiving to chick output.Monitor the operation of setters and hatchers, ensuring temperature, humidity, and ventilation are maintained according to approved programs.Track daily hatch rates, analyze deviations, and address operational issues promptly.Ensure the quality and suitability of incoming eggs for hatching, and monitor broken or unsuitable eggs.Implement biosecurity procedures within the hatchery and supervise cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization programs.Manage hatchery staff, assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide training as needed.Prepare daily and weekly reports on hatch rates, losses, consumption, and technical issues.Monitor inventory of operational supplies, materials, and equipment, and communicate needs to management.Coordinate with the maintenance department to ensure the readiness of equipment, setters, and hatchers, preventing unexpected breakdowns.Continuously improve operational efficiency while adhering to technical and quality standards to produce healthy chicks. Qualifications and Experience:Degree in Agriculture or Veterinary Medicine.10–15 years of experience in poultry hatcheries with at least 5 years in a managerial role.Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Professional knowledge of official correspondence writing and technical reporting skills.Ability to analyze data and interpret performance indicators within the hatchery.
