About Micro Engineering Egypt Micro Engineering Egypt (MEEG) is the regional arm of METI Group, delivering industrial Digital Twin, BIM, and geospatial-AI solutions across energy, utilities, and construction. We partner with owners, EPCs, and operators to modernize brownfield/greenfield assets, accelerate projects, and unlock measurable operational value. Role Summary You’ll be the technical front line for our sales team—turning client pain points into solution architectures and compelling demos. You’ll shape proposals, lead PoCs, and align stakeholders around Digital Twin and BIM outcomes (safety, schedule, cost, quality, and O&M efficiency). What You’ll Do Client Discovery & Solutioning Run discovery sessions, clarify requirements, and map use cases and acceptance criteria. Design solution architectures spanning BIM + Digital Twin + IIoT/SCADA/CMMS and GIS where required. Conduct gap analyses and recommend approaches aligned to standards (e.g., ISO 19650, IFC). Presales Execution Respond to RFPs/RFQs: author technical proposals (SoWs, BoQs, compliance matrices, benefits cases). Own accurate, detailed pricing for mega and small projects, including cost breakdowns, unit-rate/BoQ development, assumptions, risk/contingency, tax/FX considerations, and pricing validation with Delivery/Finance. Plan and deliver PoCs/trials; define success criteria; coordinate site access, data readiness, and test plans. Build and deliver demos and executive-level presentations (technical and value-focused). Technical Enablement & Collaboration Create and maintain design documents, solution briefs, and reference architectures. Train sales teams on features, competitive positioning, and differentiators. Provide structured feedback to Product/R&D on roadmap needs and client-driven enhancements. Market & Competitive Intelligence Track market trends, standards, and competitor moves; synthesize insights into win strategies. Maintain reusable assets: use-case library, demo datasets, and proposal/pricing templates. Governance & Quality Ensure solutions and SoWs reflect best practices, realistic assumptions, and risk mitigations. Support preliminary site visits; coordinate trial logistics and stakeholder workshops. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Industrial, Mechatronics, Geomatics, or related). 2+ years in presales/solution consulting / technical sales or system design for enterprise/industrial solutions. Proven experience crafting proposals and building detailed cost/pricing estimates (mega and small projects). Hands-on with BIM workflows (Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360/ACC, IFC, ISO 19650) and model coordination. Familiarity with Digital Twin concepts across the asset lifecycle and PoC execution. Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills (business + technical). Analytical mindset; translate requirements into functional specs, BoQs, and acceptance criteria. Cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Delivery/Engineering, and Finance; comfortable with site work. Willingness to travel (Egypt, KSA/GCC). Nice to Have (Boosters) Exposure to industrial platforms: AVEVA (PI System, Insight/Connect), Hexagon, Bentley iTwin, ESRI. Understanding of IIoT/SCADA/DCS, OPC UA, historians, and CMMS/EAM (Maximo, SAP PM). Reality capture / Scan-to-BIM (point clouds, registration, QA/QC) and LOD practices. Cloud familiarity (Azure/AWS), data modelling (SQL), light scripting (Python/Power BI) for pricing/demos. Sector experience: energy, utilities, petrochemicals, and large construction. Bilingual (Arabic/English) proposal and pricing documentation. What Success Looks Like (KPI Hints) Accurate pricing with clear assumptions → higher win rates and healthy margins.
