Head Accountant

About the RoleWe are looking for a highly qualified Chief Accountant to lead the accounting and financial reporting function in a growing leasing company within a strong banking group. This position plays a strategic role in ensuring transparency, compliance, and efficiency of financial operations. Key ResponsibilitiesFull-cycle accounting and tax management according to Kazakhstan law and corporate policies;Preparation of financial, tax, and management reports, including consolidation with the parent bank;Control of accounting for leasing operations, client and vendor settlements;Development and implementation of accounting policies and internal controls;Liaison with auditors, tax authorities, and internal control departments;Preparation of management report for the Management Board;Preparation and updating of the company's operating budget;Team leadership and professional development of accounting staff.RequirementsDegree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics;5+ years of experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role (finance or leasing preferred);Strong knowledge of IFRS and Kazakhstan accounting & tax regulations;Proficiency in 1C, Excel (advanced), ERP systems;Professional certifications (CAP/CIPA, DipIFR, CPA) are a plus;Leadership, accountability, and strong analytical skills.We offerOfficial employment and stable working environment;Competitive salary + annual performance bonus;Social benefits under the bank’s corporate standards;Professional growth opportunities within a large financial group.Ready to join us?Send your CV Baizhumanova.G@halykleasing.kz with Subject “Chief Accountant – [Ваше имя / Your Name]”.
