This role ensures seamless integration, operational efficiency, and compliance across all technology functions. Working closely with senior leadership, the position drives digital transformation and delivers secure, scalable, and customer-focused tech solutions aligned with business goals.What Head Business Technology - MMBL Does?Lead the strategy, implementation, and optimization of core banking systems, ADCs, in-house software development, and mobile applicationsEnsure seamless integration of Temenos T24 across banking functions for operations, transactions, and complianceMaintain system stability, security, performance, and drive continuous innovationManage upgrades, enhancements, and strategic alignment of core banking platformCollaborate with senior leadership to ensure technology supports current and future business needsOversee Internet Banking (IRIS), UBPS, and Mobile Banking (MONETA) platformsEnsure regulatory compliance and execution of digital initiativesLed middleware replacement project and in-sourcing of bill payment and home remittanceOversee design, development, and maintenance of core applications and mobile platformsEnsure applications are secure, user-friendly, high-performing, and integrated with core and third-party systemsCoordinate across business units, UX/UI teams, and infrastructure to deliver impactful solutionsMonitor technology trends to ensure the bank’s digital efforts remain future-readyManage cross-functional teams to deliver cost-effective, timely, and high-quality solutionsMaintain compliance with regulatory requirements while ensuring innovation and operational excellencePromote a collaborative culture focused on continuous improvement and customer valueWhat are we looking for and what does it require to be Head Business Technology -MMBL?Job Requirements:Hold a Bachelor’s degree in CS from a reputable Institution, however Master in CS will be preferable.Have a minimum of 10 years’ experience of working in IT/Telecom/Bank industry.Key Skills:Planning & Organizational SkillsFocus on Teamwork & Customer Orientated attitudeHave worked on enterprise level solution implementationHave worked on Mobile financial servicesHave worked as Project manager.Have good verbal and written communication skills and good presentation skillsUnderstand the impacts of technical level changes to BusinessDesirable Skills:Banking knowledge/experienceSkilled in IT planning, budgeting and implementationThorough understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements for bankAbout MMBL:Mobilink Microfinance Bank Ltd. is providing banking services to over 48 million registered users including 20+ million monthly active customers across Pakistan.
