Head Collection (VP)

Your new company This person will lead the collections department, overseeing strategies to recover outstanding debts while maintaining strong client relationships. This senior role requires strategic thinking, leadership, and deep knowledge of financial regulations and debt recovery processes. The position is critical to ensuring healthy cash flow and minimising losses from bad debts. Your new role Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement effective collection strategies to maximise recovery and minimise risk.Team Management: Lead, mentor, and supervise the collections team, setting performance goals and ensuring high standards.Performance Monitoring: Analyse collections metrics and adjust strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.Compliance Oversight: Ensure all collection activities comply with financial regulations and legal standards.Client Negotiations: Handle complex negotiations with clients and external partners to resolve payment issues and establish repayment plans.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with finance, legal, customer service, and underwriting teams to resolve disputes and improve processes.Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management on collection's performance, challenges, and strategic initiatives.Policy Development: Establish and maintain policies and procedures for the collections department.What you'll need to succeed Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.Proven experience in a senior collections or credit management role, preferably in insurance or financial services.Strong understanding of financial regulations, debt recovery processes, and risk management.Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive decisions.Proficiency in collections software and Microsoft Office Suite.What you'll get in return Attractive benefits Fast-moving company Team management What you need to do now Click "apply now" if you are interested in this role.
