The company operates internationally from offices across Europe, North America, Asia Pacific and Africa.Job DescriptionThe Head of Finance EU will oversee all financial operations across the European Business Unit, ensuring robust financial planning, analysis, reporting, and risk management. This strategic leadership role is critical to driving financial performance and supporting the company’s growth objectives in the renewable energy sector.Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize performance and support business growthLead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling for the EU Business UnitImplement robust controlling processes to monitor financial performanceIdentify and mitigate financial risks across projects and marketsBuild and maintain relationships with banks, advisors, and external stakeholdersWork closely with corporate teams and country-level finance teams to align financial objectivesEstablish and lead a high-performing finance team within the EU BUDrive innovation and continuous improvement within finance processes and systemsQualificationsMaster’s degree in Finance or related field10–15 years experience in finance with at least 5 years in a leadership roleExperience in the renewable energy industry is essentialAbility to shape and drive the financial vision of the organization by aligning financial strategies with overall business objectivesCompetence to manage complex projects and drive transformationAbility to generate creative solutions for financial challenges and implement best practices to enhance efficiencyStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities paired with excellent communication and intercultural collaboration skillsRelevant finance or accounting certifications preferredProficiency in English language; any other European language is a plusDon’t let a few missing boxes hold you back.
