The company operates internationally from offices in Spain Germany, Italy, Netherlands, France, Poland, USA, Australia, United Kingdom, Panama, India and South East Asia.Job DescriptionThe Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for owning, maintaining, and further developing the Long-Term Business Plan (LTBP) model - a consolidated 5 year financial outlook across all business units of the group. The ideal candidate will bring strong financial modelling expertise and a strategic mindset to support long-term decision-making and cross-functional collaboration. You will consolidate inputs from all relevant business units and deliver a robust and integrated long-term financial outlook for the group. The role provides analytical insights and scenario-based evaluations that support senior management in shaping both group-level and business unit strategies.Key TasksOwn and continuously enhance the group’s Long-Term Business Plan modelConsolidate financial inputs from all relevant business units into a cohesive and dynamic planning frameworkImplement and maintain robust dynamic connection to company databases and reporting tools, such as Business Central, Compass and LucanetCollaborate closely with business unit leaders, the broader finance team, and the Group Strategy department to align assumptions and strategic prioritiesQuestioning and validating model inputs from across the organization to ensure model integrityAnalyse trends, risks, and opportunities to inform long-term financial performance and scenario planningSupport senior leadership with insights and presentations derived from the LTBPEnsure model integrity and transparency, including documentation and version controlInitiate and manage improvement projects aiming to enhance robustness of LTBP inputsPrepare relevant analytical insights into the projected financial performance and scenario planning to inform strategy formulationOverseeing the preparation of the group LTBP model and ensuring the integrity and consistency of BU inputsQualificationsMaster degree in Finance or a related field3 - 5 years of relevant experience as a Financial Analyst, Investment Analyst, or in a similar role - ideally within a Big 4 firm (experience with model audits is a plus)A high level of curiosity and critical thinkingStrong proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and scenario analysisSolid understanding of accounting principles (German GAAP, IFRS), corporate finance and strategic planningExcellent Excel skills with profound VBA experienceStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsExceptional data presentation with clarity, nuance and persuasive deliveryProactive, structured, and solution-oriented mindsetA high level of curiosity and critical thinkingCFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) is a plusProficiency in English is mandatoryAdditional InformationA truly international working environment with colleagues from all over the worldAn open-minded, friendly, dynamic, and highly motivated teamImpactful exposure to ib vogt group business plan with a scope of professional growth and developmentWe encourage both team work and personal responsibilityVery good opportunities for professional and personal development Competitive remuneration, and other exciting benefits At ib vogt, we are committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and respectful workplace where everyone can thrive.
