Head of Accounts Receivable

About PlanetPlanet is a global provider of integrated technology and payments solutions for retail and hospitality customers.We create great experiences for the millions of people who use our payments, software, and tax-free solutions every minute of every day.Planet empowers its customers to deliver great customer experiences by combining payments and software in ways that drive greater loyalty, increase revenue and save time.Founded over 35 years ago and with our headquarters in London, today we have more than 2,500 employees located across six continents serving our customers in more than 120 markets.What You Will DoEnsure the team handle and process daily collections and cash application activitiesMaintain accuracy of accounting records and controlsManage liability efforts and associated functions, process accounts receivable transactionsOverseeing and management of credit calls across the company,Work with relevant team to address main debtors and drive for resolutionPrepare financial statements and reporting, prepare monthly decks to provide updates to ELT team membersPrepare and adjust strategy in order to make sure KPI and goals are deliveredIdentify automation and improvement opportunities; and work with Product & Tech and Change team to guide the implementation of improvementsDevelop procedures and controls to manage financial risks according to company´s policies and regularly review the risk register to document any new risks associated with the departmentPerform HR tasks to support team members, regular performance reviews and team member development and growthWho You AreSuccessful candidate is a team player and independent problem-solver. You are curious and look to correct root causes to prevent future service and financial impact. You have strong leadership skills with proven experience. You have analytical and problem-solving skills.
