In this highly strategic role, you'll work directly with the CTO and their senior leadership team to identify high-impact opportunities—drawing from internal R&D and external market signals—to define product strategies, build prototypes and MVPs in collaboration with engineering and data science, and partner with GTM teams to bring these innovations to market. This is a cross-functional role at the heart of the company's AI-enabled transformation. The Head of AI Product Innovation bridges R&D potential and customer value, unlocking new revenue streams, strengthening competitive advantage, and positioning the company as a leader in the AI era.RequirementsKey ResponsibilitiesOpportunity Discovery & Strategy Conduct internal and external scans for product ideas at the intersection of AI, networking, connectivity, and infrastructure Validate use cases via customer engagement, market research, and pilot projects Develop business cases, financial models, ROI analysis, and risk assessmentsProduct Definition & Road mapping Formulate vision, strategy, and roadmaps for AI offerings Prioritize features/use cases for MVP, pilot, and scale based on impact, feasibility, and time to market Establish success criteria and KPIs (e.g. adoption, revenue, usage, retention, cost, margin)Hands-on Product Development Lead prototyping, MVP development, and pilot efforts Collaborate closely with data science, engineering, operations to ensure scalability, robustness, and compliance Oversee data strategy, model training, evaluation, iteration, testingCommercialization & Go-to-Market Define monetization strategies, pricing, packaging, segmentation Partner with marketing, sales, and business development on product launches, positioning, messaging, and rollout Monitor product performance post-launch, iterate and scaleCross-Functional Leadership & Influence Act as liaison among R&D, engineering, operations, finance, marketing, sales, legal, and compliance Influence senior leadership to secure investment and prioritize initiatives Mentor and guide teams (direct or dotted), and foster a culture of innovation Innovation & Trends Monitoring Stay updated on AI / ML / networking / infrastructure trends (e.g. generative AI, edge AI, agents) Evaluate external partnerships, open-source projects, acquisitions, or startup collaboration Encourage experimentation, learning, and continuous improvementRequired Skills & Experience Proven track record in defining, building, and launching AI / ML-driven products through full lifecycle Technical fluency in machine learning, AI systems, data architectures, sufficient to engage meaningfully with technical teams Strong product management experience: roadmap creation, prioritization, lifecycle management Solid business acumen: building business cases, pricing models, measuring financial and non-financial impact Experience working cross-functionally and aligning stakeholders across technical and non-technical domains Experience or exposure to multiple geographies (North America, EMEA, APAC) or global working environments Comfort with ambiguity, rapid prototyping, iteration, and pivoting where necessary Exceptional communication and presentation skills for both technical and business audiencesPreferred / Desirable Domain experience in networking, connectivity, infrastructure, cloud, telecommunications Familiarity with cutting-edge AI architectures (LLMs, generative models, edge AI, agent systems) Knowledge of AI ethics, data governance, regulatory constraints Experience scaling AI products globally Prior work in large enterprise / Fortune-scale environments
