This role involves setting and executing the business unit's strategic objectives, managing a team, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.Duties & ResponsibilitiesStrategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive business unit strategy aligned with the organization's overall goals and objectives. Financial Management: Manage the financial performance of the business unit, including budgeting, forecasting, and achieving revenue and profit targets. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of managers and professionals, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring the team's productivity and development. Product and Service Development: Oversee the development and enhancement of financial products and services offered by the business unit, ensuring they meet customer needs and regulatory requirements. Risk Management: Implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate operational, financial, and compliance risks within the business unit. Compliance and Regulation: Ensure the business unit complies with all industry regulations, policies, and procedures, and stay updated on changes in regulations affecting the BFSI sector. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, addressing their needs and concerns. Market Analysis: Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and threats, adjusting strategies accordingly. Performance Metrics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the business unit's performance, regularly reporting to senior management. Technology Adoption: Stay current with technological advancements in the BFSI sector and assess their relevance to the business unit's operations. QualificationsEducationBachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related fieldMaster’s degree (Desired)Experience10+ years in the BFSI sector with a track record of leadership and resultsSkills & AbilitiesIn-depth knowledge of marketing techniques and best practicesStrong understanding of financial markets, products, and servicesExcellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skillsProficiency in regulatory compliance and risk managementStrategic thinking and decision-making abilitiesLeadership and team management skillsAdditional InformationCompliance with policies and procedures based on the ISO standards adopted by CNS.
