At Cipla, you grow with purpose, lead with impact, and belong from day one.🎯 Job Purpose The Head of Business Development is responsible for identifying, negotiating, concluding and managing the end-to-end process of business development opportunities which focus on maximizing market share, sales and operating profitability through M&A’s, in-licensing, JV opportunities and strategic partnerships within the framework of Cipla One Africa and Cipla’s global and local business imperatives.📌 AccountabilitiesStrategy & Growth • Identify, negotiate, and close strategic business opportunities aligned with Cipla strategy. • Conduct market research, develop business cases, and provide financial insights. • Track and report on all agreements, ensuring timely completion of milestones.Stakeholder & Customer Management • Collaborate with internal teams: Regulatory, Finance, Operations, Sales, Marketing. • Manage external partners and global teams for successful deal execution. • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to support strategic initiatives.Financial Management • Input to BD budget and CAPEX/OPEX planning. • Track costs and report on project financial performance. • Develop financial business cases for growth initiatives.Cross-Functional Alignment • Ensure adherence to SLA’s, governance, and compliance policies. • Champion service culture and measure stakeholder satisfaction.🧾 Qualification and Relevant Experience • Postgraduate degree / MBA / PhD in Business or related field. • 10–15 years of experience in Business Development; 7–8 years in Pharma New Business Development. • Proven track record closing deals above $10M. • Minimum 5 years experience in branded Pharma market.🎁 Employee Benefits & Perks • Hybrid Work Model & flexible arrangements • Mentorship & Coaching Pathways • Wellness First: mental health, mindfulness, and fitness support • Recognition programs & career growth opportunities • Green office spaces & sustainable initiatives🚀 Ready to Apply?
